A founding contributor to Madonna Remixers United with Lukesavant and Donny, Dubtronic helped pave the way for fan-led reinterpretations of classic tracks. Since his breakout remix “Frozen (Dubtronic Dark Step Remix),” he has gone on to release hundreds of mixes that seamlessly blend cinematic soundscapes with club-ready rhythms. His remixes of “Justify My Love,” “Gambler,” “Gone Gone Gone,” and “Fighting Spirit” showcase a signature style that’s both introspective and electrifying.
Now operating as an independent artist and sometimes even a Drag Queen... Dubtronic has collaborated with fellow remixers like Marco Sartori and Opus Quark, and has expanded his reach through his thriving YouTube channel and SoundCloud page. His dedication to sonic storytelling and remix innovation continues to inspire a global audience.
Reflecting on his musical journey, Dubtronic explains: “Music was my first love and it will be my last.” A lifelong music devotee, he began by collecting records, making tapes for friends, and DJing local events. It wasn’t long before creative curiosity pulled him into production. “A friend and I started making our own music. I learned how to build a track on a computer, and as a massive Madonna fan, it felt only natural to start remixing her work.” From early mashups and extended edits, he soon evolved toward creating wholly original textures and sounds.
With every remix, Dubtronic deepens his reputation as one of the genre’s most inventive and emotionally resonant voices. His work doesn’t just remix tracks—it reinvents the listening experience.
