ABOUT SKIN BRUNO
Italian based remixer/producer.
Skin Bruno was born in 1974 in Reggio Calabria and grew up in a family crowded by singers, musicians, painters, writers and photographers. As a teenager, he inherits from his grandfather what would become his biggest passion, photography. Aged 16, he started off playing guitar, as a self taught person. He still doesn't consider himself a great guitar player, and his own road to follow was becoming clearer soon: electronic music. He stats renewing old songs in an electronic style, and keeps on remixing several artist's hits, most of all Madonna's. He even writes his own tracks, including the yet to be released 'Cyber Love' and 'You Have To Know'. In 2004 he's given the opportunity to direct the short movie 'A Collaboration Dangereuse', a french thriller going to win a regional competition organised by a french cultural association. He worked for a tv channel as director. In 2007 he's hitting the big time thanks to what is his biggest occasion so far: he's asked to produce the official remix of Chiara Iezzi's debut solo single, 'Nothing at All'. Bruno's remix of Chiara's firts solo effort (she's half of the duo Paola&Chiara) is called Skin Bruno EssEffe Mix and makes top ten in the iTunes dance chart in april 2007. Skin Bruno collaborated again with another Paola&Chiara single: Vanity&Pride Skin Bruno Gamma Ray Mix and Vanity&Pride Skin Bruno Up Down Mix. He also collaborated with Nyls, a french singer of Italian origin, producing remixes for the single Crazy and Cut Me Lose.
